About BBC Ten Pieces
Resonate are proud to be a Ten Pieces Champion.
Ten Pieces is an exciting new initiative for primary schools, led by BBC Learning and the BBC Performing Groups, focusing on classical music and creativity.
Ten Pieces will run over the school year. Starting in the autumn term with a week of free cinema screenings for schools across the country (you can still get hold of a DVD of the film), the project will culminate in a major celebratory finale in the summer.
In 2015 here at Resonate we held our own event "iLove BBC Ten Pieces" as part of our Passion for Music Festival in the Summer term, alongside our iPlay and iSing events. Ten Pieces aims to open up the world of classical music to children - and inspire them to develop their own creative responses to the pieces through music, dance or digital art.
